Drake Bay needs different planning. Many travelers drive to Sierpe and continue by boat rather than treating Drake Bay as a normal point-to-point rental-car destination.
Routes That Include the Puntarenas-Paquera Ferry
The Puntarenas-Paquera ferry carries vehicles across the Gulf of Nicoya and can shorten access to Paquera, Cóbano, Montezuma, Mal País and Santa Teresa from the Central Valley or Central Pacific.
