Liberia to El Castillo Hotels Arenal - Shared Shuttle Transportation

After arriving in Liberia around midday, I joined a shared shuttle Costa Rica transfer heading to El Castillo near Arenal. I was traveling solo with a backpack and a small suitcase, and I remember feeling a bit drained from the flight. Once everyone was onboard, the ride began through the dry Guanacaste landscape, which slowly transformed into lush, green surroundings as we approached the lake area. The route gets narrower and more winding closer to El Castillo, but it also becomes more scenic, with incredible views of Arenal Volcano when the clouds cleared. We had a quick break midway, which helped stretch and reset. By the time I reached my hotel, I felt relaxed and ready to enjoy the quieter atmosphere of that side of the region.
